Day 12 – After 20 kilometers downhill, I have a tea at Zverino station, brought my own wooden cup – 08.00 hours
Before Zverino, at the rail way track at Eliseyna, the sign shows you the way to a beautiful monastery (photo). The then residing priest Dimiter Kristanof lived with his wife in Pop Art House until his death at around 2005.
From Zverino a train takes me to Bucarest.
“I am an artist from the Netherlands on a pelgrimage from Almere by train and Brompton to a mountainous residency in a tiny, tiny village in Bulgaria. Its name is Pop Art House Osenovlag . My road signs are places of art, old trees and the people I meet. Could I meet you too?”
